Hello, frands!

This stone no longer rolls, but gathers moss she does not!

Though this is sometimes a struggle for me to accept, I am more than my van (and thank goodness; she is definitely on her last legs and is costing me a pretty penny in repairs). I hope my website not only serves to keep my friends and family updated with my life outside of the US, but also to remind myself that a stationary life is just as good and interesting and adventurous as one on the move.

As always, the Blog will cover the goings-on (the haps, the hot goss, the crackalackin's, etc). Posts will likely still angle heavily towards climbing, but you will also find my musings on a variety of other sophisticated and civilized topics now that my life has more space for them.

Besides climbing, my greatest enjoyment comes from the kitchen, and Cynful Bites will explore all things food-related. Expect some non-food-blog quality photos of my dinner and extreme FOMO. You can consider this an open invitation to my dining table anytime you want to make the trek.
